Our site operates on a WordPress Business platform with Automattic integrations

We collect information about you when you visit our site. Our site runs on a WordPress Business platform hosted by Automattic. This platform and its integrations are largely standardized with some site-owner customization. We are writers. Automattic are the experts in all things web. Please see the Automattic privacy policy for a list of companies and integrations that might be active for our site, along with privacy information related to the collection, use, and sharing of data we collect and you provide.

We Collect Information

We collect information about you when you visit our site, when you request services, and when you access the customer portal. While you visit our site, we’ll track:
  • Services you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to show you products you’ve recently viewed, for example
  • Your location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping, if applicable
  • Mailing address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, prepare an estimate or invoice
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of forms your submit on our site. When you purchase our services, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. Our Team Has Access According to Job Tasks

To fulfill requests and support services for you, all team members of ShyJot Fine Arts, LLC, have access to your provided information as needed to perform job tasks. This information includes:

  • Customer information, like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Your information may be shared across Automattic platforms and integrations

Information that we collect or you provide may be shared with other platform integrations like:
  • Jetpack, for analytics;
  • Jetpack CRM, for marketing and invoicing; and
  • Akismet, for protecting posts from spam comments.
We store your communication preferences such as whether you have opted in to receive marketing communication. This data is retained until you request the removal of your data. We keep a log of some of the communication that we have with you which may include marketing and transactional emails and/or SMS messages. These are kept for the purpose of improving our marketing and communication with you and other customers. These logs are retained until you request removal of your data.

Akismet

We use Akismet anti-spam service. Information collected and shared typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and our site URL, along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as your name, username, email address, and the comment itself. The Automattic privacy policy explains the collection, use, and sharing of information related to all of its platforms and integrations.

Toggl

We use Toggl to track billable time for time-based services, like law-related research and writing. Information like your name, service number, and project name is shared with Toggl to ensure your services are tracked separately from other services.
